% Arabica Adventure!

There are countless places in Singapore that serve coffees, ranging from cafes to Starbucks to even your neighborhood coffeeshops. However, if people are willing to queue for more than 10-15 mins just for a cup of joe, you ought to be sure that it won't be your regular cuppa.
But that won't come as a surprise for the world-renowned Kyoto cafe- % Arabica! Some history on them, they are founded in 2012 but only opened their flagship store in Kyoto in 2014. Their founder Kenneth Shoji even invested in a coffee farm in Hawaii which supplies its stores but it also sources coffee beans from around the world.
The cafe is equipped with a roastery that roasts the coffee beans in-house to ensure every cup is freshly roasted! However, the cafe located in Arab street has very limited seatings and it is always packed to the brim.
The prices of the coffee served are slightly above average ($7-$9) as compared to the average cafe's coffee ($4-$6) but the quality is certainly ensured. Their cafe serves mainly espresso-based drinks like Caffe Latte, Americano & Spanish Latte. But they also serve other drinks like Lemonade & water. I ordered a Single-origin Iced Cafe Latte ($9) & an Iced Spanish Latte ($9).
I waited for about 13 minutes before receiving my drinks but I spent my time admiring the minimalistic decor and browsing their merchandise. Their merchandise is pricey but does look really aesthetic so I would say get them if you have extra cash to spare! (Merch menu below)
Now moving on to the main attraction of the show- the coffee. The Caffe Latte is made out of aromatic coffee & full-bodied milk- the result? A well robust cup of silky smooth coffee. The Spanish Latte is something that I have never tried before as it pairs its signature coffee with the sweet touch of condensed milk. So if you have a sweet tooth like me, the latter would be a match for you!
