If you would go google "best croissant in Singapore", Tiong Bahru Bakery Safari would always appear as they are well-known for making one of the best croissants in Singapore. Tiong Bahru Bakery has multiple outlets spanning all across our little red dot and the one I visited is the Tiong Bahru Bakery Safari outlet, as you can tell from its name, it's their safari-themed cafe.

They are also staying true to their theme and it features mainly an outdoor nature-themed dining ambiance. It might be quite warm but fret not, the seating area is very well ventilated and even though the weather that day was super hot, the ventilation there made it feel alright as there were multiple fans and mini air conditioners.

The Cafe interior was nicely decorated to match the outside seatings with wooden decors & it had a cozy vibe.

While pondering on what should our brunch be, my friend and I were spoilt for choice as there was a wide range of pastries on display ranging from sweet to savory items.

Ultimately, I decided to try the Croque Monsieur while my friend had the Brie & Mushrooms Croissant. We each had a latte to go with our food and even while waiting for our food, I was still admiring the decor as it was really "safari-themed". This was what made this place stood out from the other outlets and I truly appreciated that.

The Croque Monsieur was pretty good as it was packed with ham and cheese. It would have been better if it was served warmer. Even though it was just a sandwich, I got pretty full from it as it was filled with cheese.

My friend had the Brie & Mushroom Croissant and overall it was good but it had the same problem, she felt that it wasn't warm enough to her liking. Her review was that the Brie and the mushrooms complemented each other really well and that the croissant was nice & flaky.

The Ice Cuppacino we had was aromatic & smooth and it was really refreshing in this warm afternoon heat. Highly recommend their coffee here!

Overall, love the vibes and ambiance this place gives off! Food-wise was great too with the exception of the temperature of the food in our opinion. Would I come here again? The answer is yes I would! It's a great place to chill after shopping at Dover Street Market nearby!
